NAND ipl is focusing its development program on commercializing chemical using its proprietary processing and scale-up technologies because of the extensive experience and know-how that NAND has in the fields. Our strategy is to use NAND’s unique technical expertise, enabling nanotechnology platforms and its geographical strength to bridge the gap between nanotechnology research and marketplace.

NANO SPECIALITY POLYMERS(LATEX/RESIN)

The main component of the Chemically produced color toners is nano-sized latex that NAND makes via emulsion polymerization. In our experience, NAND is one of the very few companies who can make latex of such specifications (i.e. nano size). There are up to six different types of latex that are constituents of the Chemically produced color toners . Some of these latex are functional co-polymers and/or core/shell co-polymers that give us the ability to tailor Chemically produced color toners properties. Latex (or Specialty Polymers) are utilized in many industries including toners, paints and plastics. We will utilize our technology and know-how to make specialty polymers for high tech / high value products.

Nano Pigment for Inkjet Ink

As part of Chemically produced color toners manufacturing technology development, NAND developed the milling technology to create nano pigment particles for the manufacturing of Chemically produced color toners . The same material is also used to make inkjet ink. Compared to dye based ink, pigment based ink has the advantages of better durability and improved interaction with printing media. NAND’s milling technology is fully developed and has successfully launched the product in the market.

Nano Wax

As part of Chemically produced color toners manufacturing technology development, NAND developed the technology to create nano wax particles for the manufacturing of Chemically produced color toners . Wax of nano size can be used to fill fine scratches and conceal swirl marks. It also makes the car shine and leaves no wax residue behind. Wax dispersions are used in many applications related to packaging, sealing and coatings.
